Hey, friends.
I’m on Day 4(? I think?) of this same migraine and it’s really wearing me down today. Took a nap after this morning's stream but when I woke up it was STILL there -
I think the only thing that will cure me is a full night of sleep (haven't gotten too many of those lately).
Knowing that I gave myself the allowances for 30Songs/30Days - the freedom to turn in a short sketch, and the freedom to skip a day and make up for it later in the month - I decided to take some Excedrin PM and see if I could pull anything together before they kicked in.
So with an ice-pack on my head, my head throbbing, and while totally nauseated, I managed to get a couple of verses on the page, and included TWO prompts: one from members Dexter and Wanda ("'til things are back to normal") and the other from my songwriting group that gives me weekly prompts ("breaking and entering").
It's just a little something, but I really *didn't* want to have to write two in one day later.
Write what you know, right? 😜 So this one is about my little companion, the never-ending headache that always likes to rain on my parade...
