I’m Alive!
Just wanted to briefly touch base since we’re already pretty deep into April and I’ve been pretty quiet -
I’m okay! Instead of giving you a whole speech about how I’m embarrassed I missed the March cover deadline (which of course I am), I’ll relay that the end of March dealt me a series of not-serious, but not fun, injuries and illnesses that really slowed me down, and now I’m BEHIND ON EVERYTHING.
In an effort to not make things worse I’ve been going slow and trying to take time for preventative measures so that I don’t have to deal with that again anytime soon, and that commitment to taking care of myself means that my dedicated deep focus/work time has been very limited, because, ALSO…
Within the first week of April I also started a live-gig sprint (a live performance event just about every single day for the month of April starting on April 5th and ending April 30th). So I really needed to ensure that I could physically manage the endeavor.
That being said - the March cover (that I did a live performance/debut of on Debut Night), is about 80% done. I will be chipping away at what remains slowly and trying to get caught back up over the rest of the month so that I (hopefully) don’t get too far behind on the release schedule, though I do have some other non-Vault-related deadlines looming- other recording projects and personal items that need tending and completing.
Because of the crazy schedule, I’m having to forgo Disney Night on Twitch this month, but we’ll get that going again first Monday of May.
I couldn’t possibly miss our single monthly ONE BIG DARK ROOM event tonight (8PM EST), so that is still on. Hope to see you if you’re around.
As soon as I can get my head above water a bit more I will draft up a proper “hello April!” post :)
